Dr. Aws Aldarkazali, DMD, FAGD

Dr. Aldarkazali, lovingly known as “Dr. Al” by his patients, is more than just a dentist—he’s a caring partner in your family’s health and well-being. A graduate of the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, one of the world’s only Ivy League dental schools, Dr. Al combines top-tier education with a genuine passion for helping others. After earning his degree, he further honed his skills at Montefiore Medical Hospital in New York City, one of the nation's busiest and most diverse hospitals. At Montefiore, Dr. Al learned to treat a wide variety of issues that many general dentists are not exposed to, which expanded his knowledge and skills.

A firm believer in continued education, Dr. Al also completed an intensive two-year program in advanced orthodontics for general dentists with the Academy of General Practitioner Orthodontics. Dr. Al is also a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry; a distinction earned by only 8% of dentists in Texas that requires the completion of over 500 hours of continuing education and passing a rigorous examination. His commitment to advanced education ensures that Dr. Al stays on the cutting edge of dental care, offering his patients the most comprehensive dental care available, rooted in the best techniques, clinical standards, and technology available.

Beyond his impressive qualifications, Dr. Al’s warmth and compassion truly set him apart. His patients appreciate his gentle, empathetic approach and his ability to make everyone feel at ease in the dental chair. Whether he’s treating a child’s first cavity or helping an adult achieve their dream smile, Dr. Al is known for his patience, understanding, and ability to connect with his patients on a personal level.

In 2014, Dr. Al and his wife, Ruth, made Texas their home, embracing the Lone Star State with open arms. A year later, they founded Gallery Dental, a practice built to evolve the traditional dental experience and offer high-quality dentistry in a soothing, spa-like environment for the entire family. In 2016, they welcomed their first child, Ari, into their lives, and in 2020, they were blessed with the arrival of their daughter, Alma. Dr. Al cherishes time with his family. He can often be found cheering Ari on at chess competitions, attending Alma’s dance recitals, coaching Ari as a goalkeeper, or making memories with his daughter at their annual Daddy-Daughter dance.

Dr. Al’s interests extend beyond dentistry and family life. A creative spirit at heart, he enjoys painting and drawing, and his artwork is proudly displayed at Gallery Dental, giving the office a personal and inviting touch. Dr. Al is also an avid sports fan who loves playing pickleball, as well as watching football. When he’s not working or spending time with his family, you might find Dr. Al at a wine-tasting event with friends or exploring the vineyards of Napa Valley with Ruth.

Carla

Office Manager

Carla is our Office Manager. She began her dental career in 1994 as a registered dental assistant, graduating from West Texas Dental Assisting School.  She enjoys helping and interacting with our patients.  The Gallery Dental team enjoys her positive personality and how she likes to take care of everyone. Patients also say they appreciate her gentle and compassionate manner when talking about their dental and financial needs. Carla strives to make dentistry understandable and affordable for every patient by helping find unique ways to fit it into their budgets.  Although she won’t be directly handling your dental care, Carla works to make sure our team has the needed support to best treat our patients and keep the office running smoothly. Carla’s extensive dental knowledge and her experience in the financial and management areas of dentistry and our practice makes her an excellent asset to our team.

When not working at Gallery Dental, Carla loves to spend time with her husband of over 30 years, their daughter and her family to include their 2 precious grandchildren.  She raised her family in the Keller/ Fort Worth area and still calls that home. She enjoys watching her favorite football and basketball teams, the Tennessee Volunteers and Dallas Cowboys, watching movies, is an avid reader and loves spending time with friends.

Kelly

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT & INSURANCE COORDINATOR

Kelly was raised here in Colleyville, Texas with DEEP roots to this area. When the town changed the name from Bransford Community to Colleyville, it was her great- great grandfather, Dr. Colley, that they named it after. When you call our office or you walk through our doors, Kelly’s face or voice is the one that will most likely greet you. Kelly has a background in medical billing and coding and worked in the dental community since 2018. When asked what she loves about working here at Gallery Dental, she said “she loves making connections with the patients and seeing them smile when they walk out the doors knowing that we helped them”! She also said that she enjoys the positive work environment that Dr. Al provides and that she just loves coming to work every day

When not working in the office, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She and her husband call North Richland Hills home. Being that she is a good old Texas gal, she also likes spending time hanging out in her pool with her family and friends. She also enjoys singing in her church and painting, designing and crafting.

Georgina "Gina"

DENTAL HYGIENIST - BILINGUAL

Gina is originally from San Diego.  She relocated to Oregon with her husband where she raised her family and pursued her childhood dream of becoming a dental hygienist. She graduated in 2008 and spent over 14 years providing exceptional care in Oregon before moving to the Keller/Fort Worth area and joining our practice in May 2022.

Gina is fully dedicated to delivering gentle, thorough care with a strong emphasis on periodontal health. She is fantastic when working with patients who experience dental anxiety, bringing a calming presence and a patient-centered approach to every visit. She has a deep interest in finding the best dental products for each patient, including natural and chemical-free options. Patient education is a true passion of hers—she thoroughly enjoys keeping patients informed about their oral health and the latest dental research. If she doesn’t know the answer to a question, she is always happy to research science-based sources to provide accurate, evidence-based information. Her top priority is patient safety, effectiveness, and science-based research.

She also had the rewarding experience of teaching at the same college where she earned her degree, imparting her passion and knowledge to a diverse group of dental hygiene students. Teaching clinical instrumentation helped shape her meticulous, gentle approach to dental therapy.

In her free time, Gina enjoys spending time with her family, including her two sons, working in her garden, trying out new recipes, and traveling.

Emara

Dental Hygienist

Emara graduated from Texas Woman’s University with my Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. As a passionate advocate for oral health and a committed dental professional, Emara brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of dental hygiene. With a genuine interest in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral well-being, she works hard to make sure that you are educated on the most current ways to maintain good dental health. With nearly 15 years of hands-on experience, Emara has honed her skills in providing comprehensive dental hygiene care. She has worked with diverse patient populations, demonstrating an ability to adapt to individual needs and foster a comfortable and trusting environment. Known for her warm chairside manner, Emara takes pride in creating a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. She excels in conducting thorough dental cleanings, oral assessments, and developing personalized hygiene plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Emara grew up in Mesquite, TX and calls Richland Hills her home. She married her high school sweetheart, and they have 2 adorable kids, Cooper and Rosalyn. She enjoys baking and dabbles in Photography for fun. She also loves spending time with her family watching movies and traveling. Emara is an extremely valuable asset to Gallery Dental.

Vanessa

Dental Assistant – Bilingual

Vanessa comes to us with nearly 20 years’ experience in the dental field. She graduated from Kaplan College in 2007 with her Dental assisting certification. She is bilingual (Spanish) and enjoys working in an atmosphere that is always striving to give the very best customer service there is. She takes her time letting you know what to expect at each appointment and will do her best to make sure you are comfortable in the chair. Clinically she has experience working in a pediatric dental office and general dentistry which makes her a perfect fit for our family oriented dental practice. Vanessa is always ready and willing to help her patients as well as her coworkers. Her favorite thing about dentistry is seeing a patient come in that is nervous or scared and leaving with a big smile and is no longer nervous or scared.

Vanessa is originally from Fort Worth, TX and now calls Saginaw her home. When she isn’t in the office helping patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Edward, and son, Jayden! They spend a lot of time under the Friday night lights, as Jayden keeps them busy playing football and the family is always doing fun activities on the weekend to keep things lively and fun. They also enjoy travelling together.

Kathryn

Dental Assistant

Kathryn Darby is a skilled Registered Dental Assistant with over five years of experience in providing exceptional patient care and clinical support. Originally from Beaumont, Texas, Kathryn brings a warm, personable approach to her work, helping patients feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits.

Outside of the office, Kathryn enjoys a variety of hobbies that keep her creativity and competitive spirit alive. She’s an avid gardener, a book lover, and a proud "cat mom" to her calico feline companion. When she's not tending to plants or curled up with a good novel, you might find her training for her next speed puzzling competition—yes, that’s a thing—and spending quality time with her husband.

Kathryn brings both skill and heart to her role, and she’s passionate about helping patients maintain healthy, confident smiles. We feel she is a wonderful addition to our Gallery Dental family.
